Summer is coming soon! Have you decided on a vacation spot? Paris in the summer is beautiful! We'll tell you what to expect in this wonderful city.
Summer in Paris is something special. From July 14th, Parisians go on vacation, and after August 15th, only tourists remain here. Forget about traffic jams and enjoy the Parisian beaches under the bridges and on the Seine embankment. Numerous free festivals, film screenings, and concerts take place in parks and on summer venues - there is something for everyone! We'll tell you a little more about some places.
Summer heat in La Villette
La Villette is a cool park on the outskirts of Paris. There are two museums: La Villette - City of Science and Industry, as well as the Museum of Music. Plus, there's the Zenith concert hall and the Geode 4D cinema. Summer heat in La Villette is another reason to visit this park, as almost all concerts and performances will be free! By the way, you can get to the park by renting a car and enjoy the journey in comfort, adjusting only to your free time.
Beach in Paris
The banks of the Seine turn into a beach, where Parisians enjoy sand, sun loungers, swimsuits and massages, pretending they are on the French Riviera. There are all kinds of entertainment here: from basketball to massage. Free concerts are held here every day, organized by the city hall or street performers.
But remember, you cannot swim in the Seine (there are special pools for this). But cruising on a river tram is definitely worth it! From the open deck of the ship, you will see the best views of romantic Paris and be able to enjoy a wonderful traditional French dinner with live music.
FNAC Live Festival
A free concert of electronic and rock music takes place in front of the Hôtel de Ville in July. Find out the exact dates before you go.
